Best way to Install a Crochet Weave

Crochet weaving with a BEADER on hair cornrows - a simple plastic BEADER is used to insert under a braid (cornrow, canerow, or Dutch braid) with fiber/extension hair (that can be of several different wave curl or straight patterns) the fibers are tied into the braid and a weaving effect is seen- this can be used to create a full head “weave” partial updos and creative looks like what can be seen on Tv, runway, film and everyday lifestyle.

This skillshare is best with a partner so if people come in twos -one person can have a braid that the other practices on or they can just see it as a look and learn - I can also create a demo on a table so they can practice the technique but having performed on a head is best.

Learn how to manage:

Submissions

Constructive feedback

Navigating the balance between artistic freedom and cohesive storytelling

Whether you're an artist, writer, or aspiring editor, this class will equip you with the tools and strategies to foster a thriving collaborative creative process.

Jordan Worley is a member of the editorial board of World War 3 Illustrated, a groundbreaking comic book anthology, started in New York City by comic book artists Peter Kuper and Seth Tobocman, and painter Christof Kohlhofer, and subsequently produced by a collective with a rotating editorship.

World War 3 Illustrated focuses each issue on a single political theme, chosen by the editorial collective, with artists and writers invited to create work around that topic. This approach keeps the publication diverse and unpredictable, making it one of the longest-running comic anthologies of its kind, with over 30 years in print.
